From the comic mind of director Luca Miniero who bought us the beloved Welcome to the South, this riotous offering tells the story of the family Coso, an almost perfect family leading a quiet life in Tyrol, Northern Italy. That is, until no-good uncle Cyrus “Ciro” played by Rocco Papaleo (director of Basilicata Coast to Coast) arrives from Naples.
Wrongly under arrest for mafia-related crimes , Ciro is forced to serve his sentence in the family home. Ciro’s sister Michele is mortified at his presence and hilarious situations ensue as she does everything possible to mask their association, as he teaches the children bad lessons, brings one-night-stands into the house, and taints the family reputation.
However, things change dramatically when the town gets word that Ciro is allegedly involved with a powerful mafia connection, and they begin to treat the family like royalty.
